True Love Tuesday: Stacy & Dave

Stacy & Dave were wed back in May at Pratt Place Barn. For their reception, they wanted to keep the barn open and bright so we chose a cream and white palette that would achieve their look. We used Hydrangea in the centerpieces, made the wreaths from Baby's Breath, and for her bouquet we used Peonies. When we were finished, the look was perfectly simple and bright.

True Love Tuesday: Kerri & Dylan

Kerri & Dylan wanted a wedding that reflected their Southern heritage. From the sprigs of Baby's Breath in the bouquets to the Magnolia Leaves in the centerpieces, one felt as if they had stepped back in time to the days of The Old South. The wedding was held at their church where the pews were lined with candelabras that had sprays of Fern dripping from the edges.

They could not have picked out a better venue than Magnolia Gardens Inn for their reception. The tables held a mixture of lanterns and glass compotes that were filled with Hydrangea, white Roses, Ivy, and Magnolia Leaves. We also had the joy of decorating their wedding cake with Antique Spray Roses and Carnations; the perfect combination to continue their Southern theme.

True Love Tuesday: Valerie & Matthew

Valerie and Matthew's mixture of vibrant yellow and soft grey they chose for their end-of-May wedding was a perfect nod to the beginning of a very warm summer. This fabulous couple was married at Pratt Place Barn, and the whole event was delightfully fresh! Valerie chose to use lemons in her reception decor, and they were the perfect touch to add more of the sunshine yellow color throughout her arrangements. Take a peak at a few of the floral details from their very sunny day!!

We started 2012 with a beautiful wedding held at Pratt Place Barn.  Peonies, Hydrangeas, tulips, roses, wax-flower and baby's breath in rustic containers and vintage jars ... ivory linens with burlap runners...soft, romantic, vintage, BEAUTIFUL!  The shop smelled wonderful for days.

Junior League Winter Dreams Tour of Homes 2011

Our friends at Magnolia Gardens invited us to decorate the Sun Room for the Junior League 'Winter Dreams' Tour of Homes.  

Spread a little JOY with button mums.

Our Floral Puppy was quite a hit.

All of our tables were decorated with fresh flowers.
This table included rose-bud 'ornaments and floral 'packages.'

Baby's Breath and vintage wrapped packaged ... with a little JOY.

The historic, and working' well in the Sun Room
was decorated with a custom silver pine cone wreath.
Next to the well stood a table filled with  mercury glass,
white flowers, Christmas foliage and candles.

Carnations and Baby's Breath...bet you've never seen them like this!

I'm in love with carnations this year!  Earlier this month we worked with a bride from Texas on this white and green wedding.  The combination of Dendrobium Orchids, Baby's Breath, Bear Grass and Carnations turned out beautifully.  Check out the foliage 'bows' we created for the ceremony and reception, as well.

Althea went above and beyond and made our ceremony absolutely beautiful! We had rave reviews on our decorations of the chapel, of the reception at the Bella Vista, Country Club, of the bouquets, boutonnieres and all the flowers. Aletha even went above and beyond and delivered candles to the reception that got lost in the shuffle! The wedding party told me how friendly and helpful she was, even making a boutonniere for someone she thought should have one! We can't brag big enough on Rose of Sharon!!!! We recommend them to all!!!!
